Emily Fuqua and Morgan Hawkins will talk about the two hatcheries at the Florida State University Coastal and Marine Laboratory. One is a research and restoration hatchery with the purpose of supporting the Apalachicola Bay Systems Initiative (ABSI), and the other is a small mobile experimental unit for commercial seed production. These hatcheries play a significant role in the historic and emerging economies in this region.
